I’m hugely excited about Nexus Astrum, a science fiction novel and comic series built around rebellion, sacrifice, and survival in a brutal interstellar war. At its heart, this is a story about humanity pushing back against a system designed to crush individual spirit, with towering mechs, impossible choices, and heroes forced to rise under extraordinary pressure. Nexus Astrum: Origins digs into the beginning of that rebellion, while the comic throws readers straight into a fractured galaxy where war, dwindling resources, and personal vendettas collide. The comic book Nexus Astrum: Awakening runs a parallel story 30 years in the future, where the Rebellion struggles against the Dominion’s superior numbers and technology with a new band of leaders at the helm.
What makes this project so special to me is that Nexus Astrum is not just big science fiction, it is emotional, character-driven, and packed with the scale and intensity I’ve always loved in the genre. I’m deeply thankful to Braxton Cosby for publishing and producing the series and for helping bring this universe to life in both prose and comics. Seeing this world expand in such an exciting way has been a real thrill.
And we’re only getting started. Issue 2 of the comic and Book 2 are on the way this year. Stay tuned for more in this exciting universe.
