This book is a great read.
It’s hard to summarize it in a short review because it was just that great. It was intensely descriptive. I LOVED the attention to detail that was constant throughout the book, it was also very unpredictable. When you thought you were on to something or knew what was next, the plot would change. The suspenseful plot helped propel you through the book because you just had to know what was yet to come.
There are great messages in the book. This book has life lessons as well as some spiritual references. The presentation was a nice addition.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. I read it cover to cover in under 48 hours. If you enjoy realistic fiction I urge you read this book, and if you’re a hip-hop fan you’ve really hit the jackpot because there’s a soundtrack for you to enjoy as well!
