Braxton Cosby is an award-winning Young Adult paranormal/fantasy and Science Fiction author. He serves as the CEO of Cosby Media Productions, Inc. and the comic imprint wing of the company, Starchild Comics. As a writer, Braxton’s fascination with science grew into an obsession with the genre of Sci-fi. That’s when he pursued a “calling” to create a new genre of writing: Sci-Fance. This mixes science fiction and romance. His first novel, Protostar: Book 1 of The Star-Crossed Saga, won the Readers Favorite Book of the Year Award for Romance: Fantasy-Sci-Fi category. Supernova and Solstice are part of that trilogy.
He has since gone on to pen 18 other novels, some of which have also won awards. The Young Adult adventure series The Sect: The Windgate Book 1 of The School of Ministry Series is a powerful Christian fiction tale. It follows the lives of three young men recruited by a particular group to defend the weak and hunt down evil. Evan’s Heart is a novella based on that series. Braxton created and co-written the #1 Amazon Bestselling auto-bio prose, Mike Clemons: My Life In Story, from the My Life In Story series. Mike is a celebrity Dove Award-winning music producer and drummer. World Class Sprinting/Hurdling Champion and famed Olympian Gail Devers’ Stronger is part of that series as well.
Braxton co-authored Infinity 7: Gods Among Men, part of an expanded superhero universe, the CMPDSU. This constitutes 16 other books from 6 different authors and 5 comic books.
